Hypothetically what would happen to your heart rate when you are in a prone position and then suddenly go into a standing position? Should HR decrease or increase?
Hypothetically what would happen to your (arterial) blood pressure when you go from a prone (sitting) position and then stand up? Should BP increase or decrease?

I have very low blood pressure and have trouble using painkillers like Tylenol that lower blood pressure as a treatment of pain. Does anyone know of any painkillers that treat pain without lowering blood pressure?
My mom,80 years old,has high blood pressure for years. And she has high blood pressure recently which rises from 130 to 170 . Is it too high? She has this high blood pressure for a week despite she has taken the same amount of high blood pressure pills . I take her to see the doctor but the doctor didn’t increase the amount of pills . What can I do? Is there any kind of food that can lower her blood pressure? My mom eats very little meat or fish.Is it one of the reason for her illness? Recently her hip is painful and can’t go out.I took her to see the doctor and had taken x-ray but nothing wrong. Is it caused by her high blood pressure? Also she has taken the pills which will thin her blood.

There are several medications that are used to reduce blood pressure. Each of these medications may have adverse side effects and should only be used under a doctor’s care. If you take a calcium channel-blocker, make sure that you don’t smoke and reveal all medications you are taking, including herbal supplements, to your doctor. Mixing several drugs or smoking while taking hypertension medication can create other problems like tachycardia – rapid heartbeats.
Beta-blockers reduce the rate and decrease the force of the heart’s contraction. Sexual impotency in men is one of the most common side effects. Fatigue, depression, nightmares and increased wheezing in asthmatics are other side effects of beta-blockers. Many people with high blood pressure often stop taking their medication to avoid these side effects. This is extremely dangerous. If you choose to implement alternative methods of control, work with your doctor to wean you from the drugs and monitor your progress as your pressure begins to drop naturally.
The first natural cure for high blood pressure is increased physical activity. The activity should be something that you enjoy and should also increase the heart rate and help you to lose weight. My blood pressure is a bit too high. I know it comes from smoking and being overweight. My systolic reading usually runs from 128-138, and the diastolic is 89-99.
I have not been to the doctor, because I do not want to go on medicine. I’m going to try and lower my blood pressure through natural methods such as losing weight and to stop smoking.
Is what I am doing dangerous? Do I really need to go on medicine for my blood pressure?
