my current blood pressure is 114/76.
I want to know how high my blood pressure will raise during a cardio workout, as i’m starting one. And if it could raise so high that i might be in danger.
I haven’t exercised much, so i’m a total newbie to this stuff. I need to lose about 90lbs.
One of my science fair project ideas is to see if skateboarding lowers blood pressure more than running. My school nurse said she would be able to check it but my teacher said that the blood pressure should be checked right after the activity. Since skateboarding isn’t allowed at my school will i need a physician on site to test the blood pressure?

And how does the brain and kindneys control the blood pressure ? If the blood pressure is too low what will happen?
Also what does kindneys do if you have too much sugar or saluts or not enough ?
I just went to the doctor and my blood pressure was high..is there anything i can do to lower it quickly?

I know that when you lift weights, you get a temporary increase in blood pressure. But over the long run, does weight training ultimately lower your blood pressure?
If I don’t eat all day will it make my blood pressure lower? What else can I do just to lower it temporarily? Will drinking a lot of water or exercising a few hours before I have it taken make it lower? Will garlic help? Does aspirin really do anything? If I am nervous, will it be even higher?
I am 40 years old, and 29 weeks pregnant with baby number eight. I never get sick, and my blood pressure has always been perfect.
However, I have come down with severe head cold/flu type symptoms, and my blood pressure has risen to 155/88.
Should I be concerned? Perhaps get my blood pressure checked again in a few days?
The result of the blood pressure reading at the doctor’s office is very important. The reading is recorded and if it is abnormal, a form of treatment is discussede, based on this one reading yet the way the doctor’s assistant take the blood pressure reading if improper could produce an incorrect reading. Some take it with arms down, some with arms extended, and others with the patient standing up. Each produced varying results. Isn’t it the correct way to have the arm patient sitting with the arm the same level as the heart?
