I have major high blood pressure around 180/110 and I take 4 BP pills. I was told by my doctor to purchase a home blood pressure monitor in order to check my blood pressure 3 times per day.
What is the best recommended blood pressure on the market? I need a blood pressure really accurate.

How low does it have to be? I want you to tell me a number (blood pressure) that would mean the person is unconscious or asleep but yet the person’s body is able function properly. Like the insides are not getting any permanent damage.
Or how long can a person last with that low BP?
I have low blood pressure and am getting a blood pressure test in the morning.
I need to fudge the blood-pressure test to make my BP seem higher
I’ve looked online, but can only find tips like ‘drink more water’, ‘wear pressurised stockings’ and ‘eat more salt’, but aside from the water one, these wouldn’t be convenient in the short term.
Would maybe tensening my arm muscles or anything help make my blood pressure SEEM higher? How can I dodge the accuracy of the test?
My sister’s boyfriend was feeling sick the other night and he went to the emergency room and he said that when the nurse took his blood pressure it read 280/220. Is this humanly possible to have a bottom blood pressure that high and live to tell about it? He was admitted and treated but released the next day. I think he must’ve been mistaken about his bottom BP reading. Wouldn’t a bottom pressure that high all but kill you?
I frequently use herbal medication and find it to be very effective. I know raspberry leaf tea is good for lowering blood pressure in women when they are pregnant. I believe it accomplishes this by leaching iron from the body. What would be a good herb for me, a 40yr old male to use to quickly reduce my blood pressure. If not for BP perhaps a good herb used as a diuretic?
An associate of mine of normal weight and blood pressure, got pregnant and developed high blood pressure throughout her pregnancy. The moment she gave birth, the BP went back to normal. The doctor told her she should never get pregnant again. Against his advice, she got pregnant again and the high blood pressure not only came back but it stayed and has been with her since. Still a fairly normal weight, her BP can be normal one day and way the next. Any ideas on what could be causing this? It even has her doctors stumped.
Hypothetically what would happen to your heart rate when you are in a prone position and then suddenly go into a standing position? Should HR decrease or increase?
Hypothetically what would happen to your (arterial) blood pressure when you go from a prone (sitting) position and then stand up? Should BP increase or decrease?
What are the physiological reasons for these things?
Thanks in advance.
I had a health screening last friday and because I have a big upper arm the nurse used a large cuff and my BP was scarily high (140/104). Today I got it measured at a blood pressure kiosk with a "normal" sized cuff and it was better (123/84).
I know both readings are high but I’m trying to track it to help decided if I want to take medication or not. I’m already trying to lose weight which I know will bring it down.
