They may be cut into small pieces and sprinkled with a little bit of salt and the juice of a lemon added to them in order to make them more palatable. The second step is to deal with a constipated bowel. During the period that fruits are the mainstay of the patient, he should take a warm water enema every day in order to clear his bowels.
